Soctober
Did you know that socks are the least donated items to homeless shelters? The Glastonbury Newcomers' and Neighbors' club hosts Soctober, an annual sock drive to collect new socks to donate to our local homeless shelter. Soctober is a kid-inspired and kid-run community event that teaches kindness and compassion to our youth through collecting new socks for our local homeless community. I am honored to be a sponsor of this year's event. On October 23rd from 3:30-4:30, my kids will host a collection box at my office (891 Main Street, unit B-Rear, South Glastonbury. Look for the signs at the back of the building). For every pair of NEW socks you donate, you'll get a chance to win a $25 gift certificate to Olympic Pizza!
Glastonbury Movie Night
As a resident in the town of Glastonbury, I thoroughly enjoy participating in the events around town. It is so much fun to come together with friends, family and neighbors for a night of good old fashioned fun! I am thrilled to be a sponsor of this year's Glastonbury Movie Night! The movie night is in the park, directly behind the Academy building on Main street.
Ribbon Cutting
I am proud to be a member of the Connecticut River Valley Chamber of Commerce! We held a ribbon cutting ceremony in my office to commemorate my admission into the Chamber. Despite the rain, we had an excellent turn out!
